At Daylesford we're passionate about proper food - fresh, seasonal, without any additives and, most importantly, delicious.
Each of our six recipes uses meat from our own animals, and wherever possible, the vegetables from our market garden - we love these meals so much we serve them in our cafés.
Our new meals for two are had prepared by our award-winning cooks in small batches, just as you would at home, it's the perfect supper when you don't have time to cook from scratch yourself.
Gloucester Beef Stew with Ale and Barley £7.95
We are very proud of our rare heritage herd of Gloucester cattle and its beef makes for a rich, hearty casserole. A traditional combination of bitter ale and nutty barley helps to bring out the full flavour of our beef. We love it with plenty of buttery crushed potatoes.
Beef Bolognaise with Garlic and Herbs £6.95
The award-winning Aberdeen Angus beef from our organic herd is used in our take on this modern family favourite. Full of flavour, with garlic, herbs and rich red wine, we think this is a very special bolognaise, at its best with steaming hot spaghetti.
Venison Stew with Redcurrant Jelly and Bacon £7.95
The award-winning organic venison from our farm is used to create this hearty winter stew. Our take on an old family recipe brings out the distinct flavour of venison with smoked bacon and fruity redcurrant jelly. The perfect match is a seasonal mash of carrot and swede.
Braised Lamb with Celeriac and Spelt £7.95
Organic lamb from our farm is the main ingredient in this traditional English recipe. Tender, slow cooked lamb is combined with caramelised vegetables and spelt, to create a hearty, filling dish that we think is best served with a simple mash of seasonal root vegetables.
Chicken Casserole with Leeks and Smoked Bacon £7.95
We use organic chicken from our farm in this indulgent casserole. Smoked bacon is balanced with smooth crème fraîche to bring out the full flavour of our chicken, making for the perfect comfort food, which we think always calls for piles of creamy mashed potato.
Red Thai Chicken Curry with Aubergine and Lemongrass £7.95
Our organic chicken from our farm is the perfect ingredient for this fragrant Thai curry. We combine aromatic spices and lemongrass with rich coconut milk to create a dish packed full of flavour, perfect with rice noodles.
Spiced Pumpkin Casserole with Lentils and Spinach £6.95
Hearty pumpkin, butterbeans and lentils make this warming casserole, balanced with the freshness of coriander. Full of flavour, all you need add is a bowl of fluffy rice.
