The Telegraph, Daylesford's Junior Cookery School
Children’s cookbooks and cooking courses tend to be big on sugary treats. Tempting though mounds of cupcakes topped with swirly icing may be, they do invite the question: are sweetmeats the only way to lure a child into the kitchen? Not at Daylesford’s HQ, a 2,000-acre organic farm in Gloucestershire....

"I would like to feedback how very much I enjoyed my Classic British Cookery course last Saturday with Vlad and Mike.

I found the course itself and my entire day with the Daylesford team just so inspiring. To be taught in such a beautiful kitchen by an expert chef such as Vlad was truly special. Vlad is utterly charming and absolutely brimming with knowledge and enthusiasm! To be able to use such wonderful organic ingredients and state of the art equipment was a real pleasure and I came away full of ideas and inspiration for cooking and eating well. I also thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to meet Frank and have a tour of the amazing gardens. Frank gave me a "pet" to take back to London - a mint plant - which I supplemented with a Rosemary plant bought at the Garden shop with my discount from the cooking course - brilliant! My Daylesford apron and pudding bowl have pride of place in my London flat, as well as my wonderful certificate! I will be sure to spread the word to many friends to encourage them to consider a course with you in future.

Best wishes and many thanks."
