Organic Chicken

Our organic Sasso chickens live free-range, open-air lives on our fully organically certified pastures and are allowed to develop longer, twice as long as conventionally reared chickens. We finish our birds after 80 days, so that their meat has time to develop its flavour fully.

Native to France, Sassos are a slow grow breed and have proved to be ideally suited to organic free range: naturally resistant to disease and easy to rear. They feed solely on a diet of organic clover and grain.
