At our entirely organic sister estate in Staffordshire, we rear a pedigree herd of Aberdeen Angus. This is a closed BSE-free herd, reared on the lush pastures of the estate. Cows are allowed to suckle their own calves and are kept together to minimise stress. This has a marvellous effect on their health, like their natural, unpolluted diet, and increases their natural resistance. Our beef is hung, and butchered, to bring out the maximum flavour, texture and succulence. Our burgers also benefit from their high beef content giving a unprecedented depth of flavour.
