Daylesford Organic linguine is produced in the central Abruzzo region of Italy from the highest quality durum wheat semolina. The pasta is made according to traditional methods by passing it through special bronze dies, to give it its characteristic rough surface, then dried at low temperatures for several days, so that when cooked, sauces will adhere to the pasta – the secret of a fully-flavoured dish. The family producers of this excellent pasta, Rustichella d´Abruzzo, are based in the small village of Pianella, near Pescara. They are renowned throughout Italy for quality.
