We retained the traditional stone and timber beams of this beautiful barn, in a sympathetic conversion into a food store with a difference. Baskets of freshly-picked vegetables and fruits in season; specialist cheeses, including our own from the next-door Creamery, delicatessen foods and salads, and warm fresh breads from our Bakery are all under one roof.
Fresh fish at Daylesford
Fresh, sustainable, seasonal fish and local shellfish, caught daily from small, inshore day-boats from the port of Looe on the Cornish coast. Supplied by Jefferson’s Seafoods, a family run fishmonger, certificated by the Organic Food Federation. Open Wednesday to Sunday. Closed Monday and Tuesday.
Butcher
Daylesford Organic THE BUTCHER in our Farmshop is refreshingly traditional. It’s the sort of place where shoppers will see real meat – game in season, carcases and cuts of meat on display – and an ageing room, where you can actually see the meat hanging, maturing properly.
Café
Whether you fancy an organic eggs Benedict for brunch; a ciabatta sandwich made from our hot, newly-made bread, bursting with good ingredients; a lunch with friends or a traditional afternoon tea, the Café is delighted to serve you. On fine days, dine al fresco at our tables in the courtyard.
