daylesford kitchens
We have a team of chefs keen to obtain the maximum potential from our organic produce, immediately it comes into season. This may mean that the abundance of heritage tomatoes in August gives them an opportunity to produce our now-famous fresh tomato sauce for pasta, tomato chutney, organic tomato soup, jams, pickles, chutneys, and much, much more – traditional English preserves are just one of our specialities. We have won organic awards for our soups; our sauces and ready to eat meals all share the same reliance on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
what we do
Our team in the kitchens of Daylesford has established a reputation for imagination and a passion for what is fresh, local, seasonal and, wherever possible, organic. Each month, they respond to the seasons, using home-grown produce in a variety of delicious dishes. The breakfasts, brunches, light meals, lunches, traditional teas and fine dining at our Supper Clubs have recently won the afé the award of Best Organic Restaurant of the Year. Daylesford and its sister estate in Staffordshire produce meat, fruit, vegetables, cheese and dairy products that are a delight for a chef to work with - hence the award winning soups, ready-meals, jams, preserves, chutneys, sauces, baked goods and new surprises you will find on offer.
fresh from daylesford
An organic fresh custard, made with the deep yellow yolks from our free-range organic chickens; organic beetroot in a Daylesford Organic version of borscht; organic, herb-spiked chicken curry and boeuf bourgignon - our chefs are developing new recipes constantly and expanding the range of ready to serve meals available.
