Do I have to book or can I just show up?

All Daylesford Organic cookery courses require advance booking.

How much are the courses?

Our cookery classes range from £50 to £295. Please check our course dates for specific pricing details.

Do I need a lot of experience cooking?

At Daylesford Organic The Cookery School, the cooking courses are designed for everyone – from novice cooks to advanced home cooks. Our goal is to provide a relaxed environment where you will gain knowledge, confidence and tools to cook healthy, organic dishes.

Are recipes provided?

Students at Daylesford Organic The Cookery School receive comprehensive recipes, supplier information and cooking guidelines from the course.

How Many Students in each Class?

Class sizes are kept to 12 participants at Daylesford Organic Cookery School, ensuring you receive individual attention from our talented, professional chefs.

How long do classes last?

Our one-day courses start at 9am and we aim to complete classes by 4.30pm.

What should I wear for the Cookery Course?

We advise wearing comfortable clothing and sensible footwear with non-slip soles and covered toes. Daylesford Organic will provide a Chefs Jacket and Apron.

Are meals provided?

Refreshments and lunch from our Daylesford Organic Farmshop are provided. Students also sample what they create during the cookery course.

Who are the cookery school instructors at Daylesford Organic?

Chefs at The Daylesford Organic Cookery School are highly trained professionals with experience from some of the world’s most recognised restaurants. Lead Instructor Vladimir Niza taught classes at Le Manoir Au Quat Saison’s Cookery School with Raymond Blanc. Vladimir also gained a Masters Degree at Oxford Brookes for Nutritional Studies.

Do you offer courses for children?

Yes. We have created courses that educate children about the cycle of food. They watch the farm at work, pick their own produce from the Kitchen Garden, and create dishes that are simple, healthy and fun for the whole family to make.

Is there Public Transport to Daylesford Organic?

Kingham Train Station is located just 3 miles from Daylesford Organic. There are regular connections to all major UK cities. Visit www.nationalrail.co.uk for timetables and information. A collection service from the train station can be arranged for Cookery School students. Details on request.

Do Gift Vouchers have an expiration date?

Cookery School Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue.

Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free courses?

Many of our courses contain vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free dishes. We encourage you to learn skills and techniques in our classes then modify at home to suit your needs.
